The Office of Design & Construction's Architecture & Planning Unit has provided
design services for many Medical Center departments. From renovating many clinics
in the Ambulatory Care Center and Medical Office Buildings to remodeling ICU and Acute
Care Nursing Units in Moffitt, Long and Mount Zion Hospital, we are responsible for planning
and monitoring the image of the Medical Center, through design.
The Architecture Unit’s tasks include technical support to Facilities and Support Services, assembling
and presenting Planning Documentation and providing full service Architectural Services.
Our goal is to create an environment which is operationally reliable and efficient, comfortable
for patients and their family and functionally smart and clean to support the Medical Center’s pursuit
of its mission of Caring, Healing, Teaching and Discovering.
